• Question: do you think that in cloning and DNA there wil be dinosaurs? i already know they have taken DNA from elephants and are making mammoths

      I think through cloning there can be all sorts of different hybrid animals developed but in terms of dinosaurs unless they have a sample of dinosaur tissue/dna then no! But it might turn out like Jurassic Park so maybe they shouldn’t try!

      Unfortunately the proteins in dinosaur DNA wouldn’t have survived this long so cloning a dinosaur wouldn’t be possible. Which is a shame. I’d love a pet dinosaur 😛

      Unfortunately, we would need the entire nucleus of a mammoth or dinosaur cell, not just its DNA, to clone it in the same way as we did for Dolly the sheep. We might be able to get traces of DNA from preserved fossils, but not enough to begin cloning experiments with today’s technology.

      I think the theoretical hydrid animal I have seen is a penguin and an orca! they match well with their white bellies and black backs!

      Joking aside we need to have whole cells to clone dinosaurs so we would struggle to find cells that are still alive today unfortunately.
