• Question: will there ever be a time where people could fly (not on planes)???

      not without the assistance of technology, there are jet packs, hang gliders and all sorts of things so there will be improved technology so maybe there will be flight suits like iron-man but genetically I think not.

      The idea of humans genetically evolving to fly is something that probably won’t happen – we don’t have environmental pressures demanding that we should as technology allows us to travel these distances without it. Technology is more likely to develop jet packs and flight suit type things so a person could fly themselves without a plane, but it would still be using technology rather than developing the ability.

      A planet with sufficiently low gravity would allow us to fly as Superman was originally depicted – a series of large leaps and bounds! 🙂

      I don’t think we will ever be able to fly like planes without help from a machine. However, there is a reduced gravity plane which they use the train astronauts in which would be cool to go in and move through the space unaided!
