• Question: have you ever invented anything

      I make new compounds that have never existed before every day. But I have yet to formally patent any of these “inventions” although that is a key part of any innovation process.

      I technically invent new molecules/materials on a daily basis that have never been made before. I hope to one day have a patent to my name, that covers my inventions!

      I’ve developed some new reactions that make new molecules. That’s about as close to invention as us chemists come!
