• Question: is human cloning possible

      Yes I think it will be possible to clone a human. A sheep has been cloned and that is not too distant genetically from a human. However, I don’t think we will ever be able to clone a person with the same thoughts, emotions and skills. I think people are too unique for that to happen. I also like that fact there are 7billion people in this world and there is only one me!

      Well I’m assuming you’re not talking about identical twins? 🙂

      We have the technology to clone humans, but it is illegal to even attempt to do so. It’s one of the few absolute “no-no’s” in scientific research. To quote Jurassic Park:

      “Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn’t stop to think if they should”

      The technology is there, but as people said it’s illegal. It’s a big ethical issue as to whether it is correct to clone humans. As it is unlikely a clone would have the same emotions/thoughts/skills as those things have as much to do with the environmental influence as is does genetics.
