Science is so important to our modern way of life. The fact that we can make people’s lives easier, safer and healthier whilst also improving our understanding of the universe is what I love about science.

My favourite thing about science is that it can make a difference to people’s lives. Scientific discoveries have made peoples lives safer (creating medicines that can make sick people better) and can help us explore the world we are in (putting a man on the moon) to name a few examples.

My favourite thing about science is that we’re working on things that are new. One day you’ll be looking at a reaction and realise that you’ve made something that nobody has ever made before and it’s a really amazing feeling!
